1. THE ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER DOESN’T END THE IRRIGATION CYCLE
TYPE OF PROBLEM: programming
SOLUTION: cancel every starting time and set only starting time of first zone, the following zones will be opened in sequence respecting the opening time.
SUGGESTION: reset the controller and execute programming following the instruction manual.
2. HOW TO INSTALL THE RAIN SENSOR RAIN STOP
Connect the red cable to the 24 VAC outlet of the controller (ex. outlet pump) , connect the green cable to the common of electric-valve and the yellow cable to the outlet COM of the controller.
3. THE ELECTRIC VALVE DOESN’T CLOSE
CASE A: the water flow rate is greater than the needs of the zone.
SOLUTION: regulate the passage of water inside the electric valve adjusting the flow control (flow control on the electric valve behind the solenoid).
CASE B: presence of debris (sand or pebbles) next to the diaphragm assembly.
SOLUTION: access the diaphragm assembly by unscrewing the screws on the upper body and clean the diaphragm. Close with care the electrovalent.
SUGGESTION: install a filter before the electric valves.
4. THE ELECTRIC VALVE DOESN’T OPEN
CASE A: The flow-control (flow control on the electric valve behind the solenoid) is fully screwed.
SOLUTION: Unscrew fully the flow-control.
CASE B: Solenoid is not energized. Check with tester that the terminal box of the controller is de-energized (24-26 VAC). Check with a tester that the solenoid gets at least 23 VAC.
SOLUTION (the terminal board has no voltage): The controller has been damaged by a power surge from the power supply. Replace the controller.
SOLUTION (solenoid is not energized): The cable used for connection CONTROLLER-SOLENOID has insufficient section. Replace the cable.
